Li Xia
Li Xia likes to use as few brush strokes as possible to show an objective, less emotional world. Many of images are those that the artist has captured in his daily life and wants to share. She wants to withdraw from the painting as much as possible, so that the painting can reveal a world on its own, without leaving her emotions inside the painting. In addition, Li Xia often uses close-up compositions, which allow the viewer to look very close, but only with the camera drawn in closer, the viewer still being in a safe and calm distance. This sense of distance and zoomed-in close-ups of things will bring the viewer a subtle feeling.
