As summer winds sweep by and rain falls, the still water awakens. Those tiny ripples spread gently outward from the center, brush against the bank, then turn back again. Going on in cycles, they renew endlessly.
An artist creates with this same fluid vitality. Thoughts rise in the mind, and the brush follows their motion—light touches, bold strokes, layers upon layers of pigment, freezing fleeting moments and gestures onto the work.
While ripples expand outward ring by ring, they also settle inward little by little, following a steady inner rhythm. Wind and rain are unpredictable, yet every ripple rises from the water and eventually dissolves back into it.
Every artist’s work originates from their inner experience and unique way of seeing. Looking at these artworks is like watching ripples by the shore. Only by observing slowly can you perceive the flowing rhythm behind creation, and the unshakable core within every piece.
‘How light the raindrop's contents are.
How gently the world touches me.
Whenever wherever whatever has happened
is written on the waters of Babel.’
